Find Peace with Stuart EMDR

At Stuart EMDR, we support sobriety. While our ambient culture embraces mind-altering substances more and more, we at Stuart EMDR are unabashedly sober-minded. We want to do what we can to help you learn the facts and choose sobriety before addiction takes hold. We can help you understand the very real risks of substance use, overcome trauma behind your urge to use, and develop healthy coping skills so you no longer want or need your drug of choice to cope. If in-residence treatment is necessary, we have contacts at the ready who can help you get the help you need today.

Stuart EMDR does not accept insurance, because we value your privacy and cannot agree to share the amount and type of information insurance companies require for payment. Likewise, we cannot prevent insurance companies from sharing or selling personal information to other entities. Stuart EMDR accepts private pay clients out of respect for your privacy. 

Standard 50-minute sessions with Melinda are $175. Intensive sessions, which are 2 hours and 15 minutes long, are $425. Melinda's calendar books out, so we recommend making a series of 8 session appointments. You can always change them if necessary through the Client Portal.

Standard 50-minute sessions with our Mental Health Counseling Intern who is supervised by Melinda Johnson, LCSW-QS, are $125.

At Stuart EMDR, we are committed to helping our neighbors in need and training the next generation of Christian mental health therapists. As such, we offer sessions with our Mental Health Counseling Intern at a reduced rate of $125 per session.

In addition to our internship program, Stuart EMDR  is proud to partner with the Agape Wellness Collective to provide referrals to Orthodox Christian therapists regardless of ability to pay. Please visit www.Agape-WellnessCollective.org for more information.

It is true, our schedule fills up very quickly, and we often have a waitlist of clients waiting for our services. We are happy to talk to all potential new clients with a 15-minute Initial Client Consultation phone call, which you can schedule in the Client Portal. If we do not have availability to take on new clients at this time, we will offer referrals to trusted colleagues who might have current availability and/or we may offer to place you on our waitlist to contact when our schedule has sufficient availability for a new client.
